That's not going to stop people from saying he's the best. Truth is, no matter how many people beg a differ, there will always be someone that disagrees. As much as I love Miyavi I can't say he's the best, because I don't know what "the best" sounds like yet, so you're kind of right, but it's hard telling that to most people. *shrug*

It's obvious that Miyavi's not the best. Miyavi's guitar playing is pretty good. I like it. And I don't find anything wrong with slapping. Plus, this is a part of Visual Kei. He's going to be flashy here. Visual Kei is a combination of music, and visual aspects. So he's going to be that way. He's still pretty talented. :P
I've been playing for 3 years and I can do the intro to the original, it's not to hard once you get the slap technique right and there's videos on youtube showing how to do the technique.
different tastes in music here. It's impossible to say which music is better as that is a question about taste. It's like I think Lemons are sweet, well they are. And most people say it's sour but I will say they're sweet. It's a bad example but still different taste in music makes you think different than the truth. I can't say that most music is good in fact it's really bad and people just like them cause they're catchy. So even tasteless music can be liked by someone so it's a matter of taste
He is only really Bizarre to the American audience, I have been following him since Gagaku and he has morphed into a mainstream artist which means dumbing down his skill for pop sensibility, I like the new stuff but sadly it won't ever compare to the indie stuff he did. As far as guitar god, while he makes the instrument sing there are much better guitarists in modern J-pop. Chachamaru from GacktJOB for example as well as Takuro from Glay.
Yeah, but in 7 samurai sessions he doesn't. Ofcourse he has used before -_- when he plays 12-stringed guitar he uses for example. And before he started to slap and stuff he used.

@kisteglad Miyavi has a special way of playing the guitar, the music he makes is not as good as Slash' though. Not to mention Frusciante.
